Lira Vex-District 2

«The hunger games started 100 years ago since the end of the big war in order to punish the districts by choosing a boy and a girl between 12 and 18 years old to fight to the last standing on the arena, the tribute who wins will be crowned victor and will be offered an entire year of free foods and samples for their district. Every victor moves to the victor’s village of each district. Each quarter quell there is a new edition of the hunger games with special rules. On the last quells there were some particular rules on the first quell the districts chose their two districts, on the second there were the double of tributes, on the last quell the tributes were chosen from the already existing victors. And this quell the tributes will be chosen from the descendants of the deceased victors. » says President Arbor, tomorrow it will be the reaping and as every district 2 child I should be excited  because I might have the luck to honour my district but I can’t because 2 years ago my older brother was killed on games and now since I’m the spectacular grandniece of Lyme Chalk I’m one of the 3 girls in my districts being descendants of a victor even if I know that I ‘ll be chosen since I humiliated the senator’s daughter at school.

Elian Crest-District 3

Every possible tribute like me is standing on top of the platform, and after listening to the story of  the hunger games, the senator , Mister Chip, started the reaping: «Good afternoon everyone, let’s start the reaping ! As always the girls first.» he takes a paper from the girl’s glass bowl and reads the small paper. «Vira Lin, Wiress Borrow’s niece, is fifteen years old!» he now picks the boy’s paper «And the lucky boy is … Elian Crest is sixteen years old, Beetee’s grandnephew . It’s like my heart has stopped. The peacekeepers take us to the town hall where I look at my older brother, Nolan, and he gives me his bracelet made with old electric wires and bits of old circuit. He says  nothing while they take us to the train station. I’ve never personally known Vira but I know that she won’t even survive the bloodbath, people say that she can’t even run properly but if she is as clever as Wiress I’d be a fool to underestimate her. I shall treat her well until she proves she isn’t as clever as her aunt, because she may be a good ally and in the games I’ll easily kill her when she stops being handy. If the capitol tries to take me from my dreams to be a rich inventor , I will get out of the arena to be a rich victor!

Amenthio Cresta-Odair -District 4

When we enter the train I could take a small look at the other’s districts cars district 1’s tributes are careers like me the boy is tall and musculated he is pale and by the color of his I could see he has been crying, strangely the girl was confident she was sketching something that looked like fighting moves. In the second car there was a girl that is called  Lira ,I heard from the other tribute who was trying to calm her down. They were both tall and thin but strong. Then there was the district 3’s car. The girl was small and thin, not an important opponent nor the boy who was thin like a spine but mid-high. The other tribute in my car is Dune Flanagan. She is my neighbour or was because I’m sure she won’t survive the bloodbath and she might not survive this trip by the way she tries to hold on to the walls! But well I think everyone knows that I’ll win and there’s nothing between me and victor’s village. I mean apart from the huge beauty I’ve got from my father I also got his fighting skills .

Talia Mason-District 7

I know this is dumb but I can’t stop thinking about the music my father usually sang it was something like: 

«The trees have grown

As long as we have known

The oak will cut the sky like arms

Until it gets chopped and kept on barns

The barns that we built 

The barns that we burnt 

Wishing that Snow would never land on top»

He would sing that all night until we fell asleep , before he was taken to the hanging tree by betrayal to the Capitol next day the teachers told us to always respect the Capitol but I’ll prove them wrong by winning the games, since I’ve been training my fighting skills since the announcement ,not that I needed but just to make sure I’ll be OK, I have trained since I was a baby to cut trees and it can’t be as different as cutting an arm, a leg or a head! 

Coralia Green-District 9

When we arrive at the Capitol’s train station I feel dizzy although amazed with the glamour and beauty of that place then I look at the other tributes and I see that most of them could break me into pieces but even though I may not be as strong as any of them I am much audacious an wouldn’t say manipulative but that’s true and that might be really useful because I just need to choose the right cannon fodder to fight by me. I know I can’t trust Al, since is as deadly as rattlesnake , he even killed two peacekeepers back in town, but I’ll pretend to be in love with him to get more sponsors to help me  thinking that I am some poor helpless maiden separated from her beloved one that might be dead by now. Luckily for me I know every poisonous plant or fungus since rosebay to deadly nightshade. Once my brother brought a dog that hated me so I gave I’m to eat a leaf of sago palm. He died the next  morning. Also, I’m so happy that I’ll have some time for heavy training according to my skills. But deep down I already miss my twin brother back at home, Valentino will always be my favorite brother that I may not ever see again. Can’t imagine him living without me but we have already talked that he shall never volunteer for someone else, not even me if I was a boy nor if I really can’t live without me because I wish he had a much prettier death that I might have or see or even make.

Lavender Everdeen-District 12

When we first arrived at the Capitol, I thought I would never survive such a cold and uninviting place. But now that we have arrived at the cleaning station, I am glad to see two nice ladies. Coral is blonde and pale. Thesa has brown, chocolate-coloured skin with golden hairpins in the shape of bees and sprigs of lavender in her beautiful, strong, curly hair.

They treated me like a queen. Coral prepared me a nice bath on a jacuzzi, massaging me. She threw in some shower salts and a bath bomb that smelled like pine and jasmine. Thesa washed my hair, applied some conditioner and also gave me a mask to put on my face. The hard part came next. They told me to get out of the bathtub and dried my wet body with the softest towel I've ever touched. Then they brought something that looked like strips of gluey paper. They stuck it over my skin and pulled it quickly, taking every single fur. But nothing compared to when I killed that bear near the woods. People might think I'm a little poor and a wimp, but I just need a few knives to kill them all. I might be 13, but I'm a strong killer.

Mortimer Porter - District 5.

A strange woman enters the room and demands to get dressed. She leaves, taking with her a few pieces of clothing. I look at the suit she left me. It is dark grey, and some mechanical parts are attached to my shoulder and down to my chest, forming some sort of armour. I don't get dressed for some time. I am amazed that they chose me. It was my last year at the reaping, and they had to pick my paper this year. I am shocked. I left my family back in Sparks without my money. How will they survive? I was almost getting promoted to a better job at the garage, and then there is Madeline, my love. I know I still have some odds of winning.

 Athens Barker - District 1.

My stylist was called Maxon, he is short with fiery red hair he has a harsh accent because he apparently came from the Wilds he is a bit corny. He insists in calling me Miss Barker , though I’m only sixteen. He keeps boasting that he has prepared… After all make up done he asks me to enter a capsule full of a metallic liquid that looked like it came from a sci-fi movie. I slowly get into the capsule and the liquid starts shaping on my body creating a silver mermaid cropped dress and a crown made with what it looked like crystals, that thing remembers when I stabbed that peacekeeper back in Diamondville what brings me to my combat skills, I’m really good using the spear but even better using the hammer I hope they keep hammers back on the cornucopia. 

And then I look at Maxon and he is with a huge smile looking at me like I am a goddess and he says «Mr Prince your companion is matching your outfit and you have to act like you are a couple on the parade that will give you sponsors, my colleague, Vivian, Orion’s stylist also told him so get ready for one or two kisses and keep your hands together. As you know the Capitol gives you a digital mentor based on your skills, background and personality comparing to the training of the older victors so I’m the one helping you emotionally.».

Senna Clayborne - District 11.

I walk downstairs almost tripping on my dress it was beautiful. I was wearing a something like heaven .The dress was with a heart-shaped neckline made with fake fruits and flowers, with some blossoms, leaves, and berries floating around me, creating a cloak of colours behind my back. My friend and fellow tribute Reed is just amazing we already decided that we shouldn't pretend to be a couple that could destroy our friendship but unluckily I might have to kill him my best friend since it can only be one winner and I know that one of us will sacrificate for each other or betray one of us and this isn’t fair but what can we do ?  At least we have fighting skills. Well, we enter the car pulled by two caramel horses with black hair. And the horses start walking I hold on to Reed’s hands and we smile we show our hands hold to everyone seeing and searching for the attention and love of somebody we own nothing but they own us everything, our lives, family, friends…

Alcestis Seed - District 9.

We enter the car and I look at her. She is stunning. She is wearing a princess like dress revested with cereals , like wheat, and poppies. This is the plot she wanted after the moment she whispered me her plan to get sponsors she told me to kiss her and pretend I am her boyfriend, although she knows I like boys and not girls, and by the way she looks at me I bet she thinks I killed those two peacekeepers, though I only helped them getting to the Wilds. So since they think my biggest weapon is being so sneaky and making good camouflages and jumping through trees and houses, I doubt I’ll get a lot of things or anything out of the Cornucopia. But as most of the winning victors, like Katniss Everdeen as my mom told me, I will run for the swamp, forest or wherever safe close to my base that’s probably over water so I should learn tipes of plants and clues about the arena during the training, so I guess sponsors will be good.

I think even if I might not survive I want to die with all careers specially the district 2’s boy and girl , Lira and Opalius , because my mother ,Thalia,  was killed by  three peacekeers from district 2.  But what makes me saddlier is the fact that the Capitol separated me from Hyacinthus and Artemis, my brother and sister. Who have helped through my  life along with my sick father , Thaniel. 

Scarlet Trains - District 10.

I’m wearing a bodycon dress in colors of white yellow and midnight blue shaping lightnings and storm clouds. I get in the car with Miles people are looking at me and screaming and I just want to shut their mouths forever but I can’t. So I just smile. I smile so I don’t cry. And the worst is that I’m all alone with psycho in my car. Miles and I were friends but since his grandmother died he is always aggressive and weird among other people and the worse is that I was brought here to die quickly, alone and uglily, since The Reaping was clearly manipulated by the senator because I destroyed the town’s train. 

The cars all stop near to the president’s mansion. She gets out and starts her usual speech: «Ladies and gentlemen of Panem! Welcome to the Centennial Hunger Games! This year, each tribute will enter the arena not only with courage, but also with extraordinary powers drawn from this Capitol bucket! Let us now reveal the powers bestowed upon each tribute!"

'Tributes of Panem, your powers have been revealed! May your skill, courage and cunning guide you to victory — for only one of you will survive to claim the glory of the Centennial Hunger Games! The power will be placed with a chip on their mind. But there is a twist the training sessions are over and they’ll enter the arena the day after tomorrow. Goodbye and shall luck always be in your side» I’m so glad that the  Capitol finally got friendly to us now even if I can’t fight with normal weapons I have my lightnings.

Coal Kropher - District 12.

  This so stupid, everyone thinks they are safe now that we all have powers but no, they just made us deadlier, so that they have fun seeing us killing each other. Anyway I know that I might die but I won’t die alone. Everyone will be crazy against me and Lavender because district 12 is finally assumed by everyone as a career district, what I’ll hate, I can’t believe I have to hangout with careers, specially Opalius, that jerk, that thinks that we are friends, I’m really gonna kill him.
